More Magickal Garden Photos

Although you can't see it in the photo, my altar and ritual circle are on the other side of the tree that this statue is leaning against. I bought this Green Man statue to balance out all of the feminine fairy and Kwan Yin statues I have. A friend pointed out one day that this isn't the Green Man, but with the algae growing on him now, it sure could be. She said since he is surrounded by grape vines, he is actually Bacchus, the god of wine, parties, and song. That sounds good to me!
Although this isn't a garden, I love the tree roots here and I like to imagine fairies and gnomes playing among them. This tree is in the streambed on one side of my property. I always dismissed this streambed as a drainage ditch until I mowed a path beside it and saw that it has water in it almost year round, with some small, giggling cascades and banks covered with moss and ferns. Now I love this streambed and enjoy walking beside it.
My first project when I bought my land was to plant lots of trees for privacy. Here is a view of the redbuds I planted up near the street. They provide a beautiful burst of color every spring.
Now do you see why I love it here? I'll be posting more photos of my magickal land soon, so come on back and visit, ya hear?
