Intuitive Decisionmaking

Sometimes it's really hard to make decisions. Life can be intense and full of choices. When we have to make a difficult choice between two or more possibilities, wouldn't it be wonderful if there were a way to check each choice out beforehand to see which choice is the correct one?

There IS a way to do this and it is so simple that anybody can use this technique. It is such an easy thing to do that there are no fancy titles to this method. I simply call it "The Gut Thing."

Here is how it works. First, get quiet and close your eyes, if possible. Pick one choice and visualize it. See yourself making the choice and use your imagination to envision what it would be like to follow through. Now place your attention on your solar plexus area, your gut. How does it feel?

Next, erase all that from your mind and choose the other possibility. Visualize making that choice and see how it feels inside. Does one choice make you feel tense and the other relaxed? Does one choice make you feel "blocked" while the other makes you feel more "open"? Sometimes the difference is subtle, and sometimes it is pronounced. Using this technique eliminates the left-brained, analytical side and allows you to get in touch with your intuition. These feelings in your solar plexus are your intuition guiding you. The more you use this technique, the better you will get so that you'll soon be able to do it in a crowded room without anyone even knowing you're doing it!

If you have more than two possible choices, use this technique for each one, then compare your gut reactions. Which choice gives you more of a peaceful feeling? That's the one you should go with.

If you cannot relax or if you are so stressed that you feel tense inside no matter which choice you envision, that's okay. When that happens, put it aside until later when you are more relaxed and try it again. It works.

See how easy it is? If you try this technique, I'd love to hear about your experiences with it and I'll be happy to answer any questions you might have. In the meantime, good luck and don't forget to go with your gut!

Bright blessings,

Lumara
